THE FORDSON TRACTOR.

Messrs S. Tombs and Coy., of Hamilton, liavo just landed a big shipment of Ford touring cars, run. abouts, ton trucks and Fordson tractors, and are now in a position to cope with the big demand of the Waikato district. Regarding the Ford car little need bo said, as it has proved itself under all conditions to be the only car at a reasonable figure equal to the requirements of the person buying a car for real duty as well as pleasure, ■with the remarkably small cost of upkeep. The one ton truck ha*qnly lately been introduced into tltO; Waikato, but quite a number are ndw in commission among the dairy 'factories and commercial houses, whero they are giving ontiro satisfaction, aod it is safe to predict that a very great number of these vehicles will bo in use especially in the Glaxo district. Regarding tho Fordson .tractor, which, by the way, is the result of very extonsivo trials and experiments conducted by Mr Henry Ford, we were shown one of these marvels working under actual farm, ing conditions —working on a soft swamp which is heavily timbered ; it is much too rough for a team of horses, and its only competitor being a team of bullocks. It would bo an object lesson for any farmer to avail themselves of the firm’s offor to show them tho tractor at work. The simplicity of its operation and low kerosene consumption will at once appeal to the farmer who is anxious to overcome the difficulty of labor. Messrs Tombs & Co., who are tho Waikato distributors for all Ford products, have large stocks now on hand, together with all spare parts, and can give immediate delivery. They invite purchasers to get in touch with them direct.*
