HUNGAHUNGA DRAINAGE 9 BOARD Proposal to raise a Loan of £SOOO for Drainage Works over a Special Rating Area NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 8 of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," that it is proposed by the Hungahunga Drainage Board to borrow from the New Zealand State-guaran-teed Advances Offices Superintendent a Special Loan for the construction of new drainage works for the drainage of a portion of the Hungahunga Drainage District, which is not a legal sub-division, (the South Waihekau Special Rating Area, comprising portions of Blocks 11, 111, Tapapa Survey District and Blocks V, VIII, IX, and XIII, Wairere Survey District), viz. to cleanse, deepen and widen existing watercourses, drains and outfalls, to take over if required and pay compensation for private watercourses, drains and outfalls, and to make and construct new watercourses, drains and outfalls. And that the sum proposed to be borrowed is £SOOO, the proposed security for the said loan is a special annual recunyng rate on a graduated scale according to the classification of lands within the said Hungahunga Drainage District, viz., on "A" land 6d, on "B" lands sd, and on u C " lands 4d, upon the unimproved value of the rateable property within the said Special Rating Area. Such rate will provide principal and interest by payment of seventy three half-yearly instalments of £2 16s Id per cent, and is the provision for repayment of the loan.
