Mr J. W. Simpson drew attention to a motion standing on the minutes to the effect that the branch should give a welcome home to the boys who have left the country on active service. Conditions had altered since, but he would like to know if anything was going to be done, as the time was near when preparation should be commenced. He raised the question so that the matter might be discussed. Mr Price suggested that the branch should join in a big general welcome. Notice of motion was given by Mr Simpson " that the matter be discussed at next meeting." His reason for giving the notice of motion was that members might | consider the manner of welcome, and the financial aspect.
