MATAMATA FARMERS’ UNION THE monthly meeting of the above branch of the Farmers’ union, which was to have been held to-morrow night, has been postponed on account of important dairy meeting at Waharoa, but will be held in January on a date to be notified. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS Xmas Holidays, 1918 FROM 21st December, 1918, to Uth January, 1919, the AucklandRotorua Express train will leave Auckland at 9.50 a.m. and arrive Rotorua at 5.45 p.m. CHRISTMAS DAY, 25th DECEMBER. The usual express trains will run from Auckland to Wellington and vice versa. The usual 6.5 a.m. train Rotorua to Frankton, and the usual 15 p.m. train Morrinsville to Rotorua will not run. THURSDAY, 26T11 DECEMBER The usual 6.30 a.m. train Putaruru to Frankton, and the 1.50 p.m. train Frankton to Putaruru will not run. Goods and live stock traffic will be suspended, and goods sheds will be closed on 25th and 26th December.
