Morrinsville.
i At the Morrinsville Temporary hospital there are at present 22 patients. Since it has been opened 36 patients have been admitted, of whom 12 have been - discharged and two died. Since Tuesday of last week no patients have been admitted to the hospital from the Morrinsville township. From Friday to yesterday inclusive one patient was admitted each day. Two came from Piako, one from Tauhei and one from Tahuna. Dr. Douglas, of Hamilton, paid a surprise visit to the hospital at an early hour on Monday morning. He had a look through the
institution and after enquiring about the number of patients treated asked that his congratulations be conveyed to the doctors and nursing staff on the splendid work they were doing. It may safely be said that the epidemic has abated very considerably in Morrinsville during the past week. Mr R. Allison, of Piako, died in the Morrinsville hospital at an early hour this morning.
