MORRINSVILLE There was a large yarding at the Farmers' Auctioneering Co.'s sale on Friday- Good quality was yarded, and prices throughout showed an advance. Generally the prices were some of the best that have been touched in the yards. Prime fat steers made from £lB to £23 5s for an animal penned by Mr W. Aitken, Kereone, other fat steers made from £ls 2s 6d to £l7 2s 6d, a fat cow yarded by Mr W. Aitken brought £l9, other fat cows £l3 10s to £l4 17s 6d, fresh-conditioned cows £8 to £9 17s 6d, store cows £7 to £7 17s 6d, poorer sorts £5 to £6 ss, 2-year steers £8 to £9 14s for a line from Mr White, Tahuna, 2-year empty heifers £9 2s (3d to £9 15s, poorer sorts £6 12s 6d to £7 17s 6d, yearling steers £5 13s to £6 14s, yearling heifers £4 16s to £o 4s. Mr Thomas' dairy herd made from £lB to £22 10s, other good quality dairy cows £l3 to £l7, best heifers £ls 15s to £l7, others £l2 to £l4. Sheep, fat ewes 34s to 365, lighter sorts 28s to 30s, extra prime hoggets to £2 7s, fat hoggets 26s to 30s, store hoggets 14s to 16s 9d. Pigs, slips £2 to £2 13s, porkers £2l6s to £3 15s, sow in young £5 7s. ' "
