OKAUIA.
A meeting was held on Monday to decide what part Okauia should take in the Red Cross “ Copper Trail ” campaign. Mr Sutherland was voted to the chair, and after the purpose of the meeting had been stated, and the manner of raising funds discussed, it was resolved to combine with Turanga-o-moana and support their queen. A committee was appointed consisting of Messrs Sutherland, Hopkins, Mathers, Clark and Jones, with Mr T. C. Fogerty as secretary and treasurer. Various proposals wereh-eceived, and arrangements were made to hold social gatherings.
