TURANGA-O-MOANA.

Mrs Clemow, of Taranaki, and her son Pvte. Phil. Clemow, who left New Zealand with the Main Body have been the guests of Mrs A. C. Vosper, of Whare Huia.

Mrs D. R. Gunn has been spending a few days in Hamilton. On Wednesday, April 24th, the Gordon Red Cross meeting was held at Miss Montague’s residence. There was a very good attendance of Red Cross ladies from the Gordon, and several Turanga-o-moana ladies were also present. A very pleasant time was spent, after which a dainty afternoon tea was served. On Thursday, May 2nd, the ladies of Turanga-o-moana held their Red Cross meeting in the hall. There was a good attendance, afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs H. R. Harding and Mrs O. W. Arnold.
