At the Westfield sale on Wednesday prices remained on a par with those prevailing' on the previous week. It is stated that Lieut -Colonel E. C. Allen will arrive in Now Zealand on furlough at the beginning of next month. Mr W. A. Wright, of the staff of the Morriusville branch of the Bank of New Zealand, is shortly leaving the bank to take up farming at Matamata.
