The grass lands in the Kaimai district have been responsible for good returns this season. On one farm alone it is stated that fat stock to the value of over £3,000 have been sold since the New Year. Rev. W. Barnett has disposed of his last section at Kaimai, of 169 acres, to Mr C. Finch, .of Kaimai, who intends to go in for*dairy farming. The area of 800'acres, formerly held by Mr Brownie, has been taken up by Mr Price, of Christchurch, who has already settled on the property. —“ Times,” Tauranga.
