At the Westfield sale on Wednesday prices for fat cattle and sheep were firm, some lines showing an advance. Fat lambs, and calves sold readily at late values. Mr M. Maning, formerly manager of the Rotorua branch of the Bank of Australasia, has been appointed manager of the Morrinsville branch and arrived from Rotorua on Friday.
