South Seas Fiesta Draws Near
Mana is holding a ‘South Seas Fiesta’ extravaganza at the Overseas Lounge, Princess Wharf on Saturday 29 April. The Fiesta is an all out effort by Mana’s Trust Board to raise substantial funds for the paper so tickets don’t go cheap. In fact they are $25 a double but don’t worry —you’ll definitely get your moneys worth. A Tongan dance troupe is. being specially flown in from Tonga to perform the Taulunga a Tonga cultural dance. Also courtesy of Polynesian Airlines, is a Samoan fire dance group from Apia.
The line-up for the night certainly is an extravaganza with special catering done professionally by a Polynesian who, for this particular night, is putting together all the Polynesian dishes under the sun.
Top class entertainment will include items from all the Maori and Pacific Island groups including well known guest artists Martin Kini, Sammy Dee, The Yandall Sisters and possibly
Bridgette Allen, Frank Rowles and others who are being approached. This is definitely going to be a night not to be missed so get your bread together and buy a ticket or spread the word to your friends. Tickets are available now al the Corner Booking Office,Venusi’s Bureau in St Kevins Arcade, Karangangahape Rd, Polynesian Airlines,
