ROOTS ROCK — OR WHAT!
Since Mana began, the youth of Polynesia has been at the forefront of Mana supporters. So much is happening to you out there that we feel it is only right that you should be heard as well as be seen. We intend to publish in future issues of Mana regular columns dedicated to what is going down with the Youth of Polynesia
There is a definite need to write about what you, the Polynesian Youth is getting into, so we are inviting you to contribute now, while the action is going on. The address is still the same; Mana, P.O. Box 68320 Newton, Auckland.
So get it down and get it in Quick Fast.
Music and all the events that surround the music scene in N.Z. has, so far, been geared to a westernised world market —and a very rip-off one at that — but somewhere out there we know that there are some very talented Polynesians who would rather share theirmusic closerto home.
There is a vast untapped resource of sound and action that deals with Polynesian youth who are living in a multicultural world of their own. What we want to do is get it down. A lot of vibrant energy is just floating around being wasted and we feel that Mana is a positive vibration to catch on to and to spread it all around. Dig? Well catch this.
