Come to the Mana Social
Mana is laying on a good time for its friends and well-wishers at the Waitemata Tavern on Wednesday night, February 22. Ticket bearers are entitled to a free meal at the Waitemata’s Bistro Bar as well as being treated to a ‘band of the land’. Papas plus floorshows.
The aim of the get together is to help encourage an active supporters’ club for Mana. Money raised at the socials will go to Mana’s free distribution programme of its newspapers to hospitals, prisons and schools etc. The success of the February 22nd social will ensure regular social get-togethers at the Waitemata’s upstairs lounge bar. Mana hopes these evenings will develop into a multi-cultural club with a wide variety of entertainment and activities ar-
ranged. So all you well-wishers and supporters, of New Zealand’s only multi-cultural newspaper get along to the Waitemata Tavern, Lower Albert Street, Auckland City on Wednesday night, Feb-
ruary 22 and have a good time. Tickets cost three, dollars and this covers food and entertainment. The tickets can be obtained from Venusi’s
Travel Bureau, first floor, St Kevins Arcade, Karangahape Road or from the Mana office, 12a East Street, just down from the Newton Post Office on Karangahape Road.
