Sponsor a Reader Thousands of Maori and other Polynesian people have to spend time each year in large institutions such as hospitals, where strict visiting rules make it difficult to be with relatives and friends. To them, Mana may be the only newspaper they can read in the long hours of the day. In the prisons too, our people are cut off from the outside world. Mana invites you to sponsor a reader in one of our hospitals or prisons. To start the programme we are sending copies to a number of hospitals and prisons throughout NZ. (This iscosting us $6O an issue). We wi II increase the numbers as sponsorship increases. Please fill in the coupon and send to P.O. Box 68320 Newton. I wish to sponsor copies to the hospitals and prisons (10 copies per issue costs $2 a fortnight). Name: Address:
