Mana Progresses
Mana has now completed six months of publication and has kept faith with our printer, typesetter, advertisers and subscribers. In other words we’ve paid our dues and our bills and come out on top without having to ask for extra money. Having started with nothing Mana is now in a sound position to meet the same commitments for 1978. We wish to thank all those readers and supporters who’ve made this desirable state of affairs possible. This is not the end of it though. It was 1977 that saw the birth of New Zealand’s only multicultural newspaper but we want, with your help. 1978 to be the year that Mana expands to become a powerful
medium of Maori and other Polynesian viewpoints. However to do so Mana needs your continued support. You can
help by subscribing now for 1978 issues, persuading advertisers to use Mana and by Continued on back page.
