By-election
It is now confirmed that the Takitumu byelection will be held on 22 December this year. It is also confirmed that Mr Matapo Matapo is the finalised candidacy for the CIP while Mr laveta Short is that for the DEMO. Campaigns have started and the CIP is confident that they will win (for this constituency is three quarters RIP supporters). The DEMO feels that they also have a fifty-fifty chance.
