Legal Advice
A legal advice bureau is now established in the Cook Islands to help the local people on legal matters pertaining their land and other matters as well. They work for the people and they do not charge. Their main concern is to see that laws and legal matters are carried out accordingly and without the people suffering as a result of their misuses. This office is run by most, if not all the lawyers present in the Cook Islands and rumours believe that the Government Advocate General is involved and Mana is hopeful that this is not so. However this one of the most outstanding deed that a group of people of the kind of standing these lawyers stand for, has ever done. The people are most truly touched by this effort and are thankful in many ways. Mana hopes that this will last for ever and ever and is not for a different purpose.
