MANA LETTERS
Friends, Thank you for publishing my news items in Ihe Fijian and Rotuman languages. I have already received many phone calls from both Fijian and Rotuman people who really appreciated reading their languages in your most interesting multi-lingual newspaper. John Antonio Mission Bay Auckland
Friends, After looking through your first issues which have been well received by the Pacific Islands pupils at this college, I thought that you might increase reader interest here if you could publish sports results from "home”. So far as Cook Islanders are concerned, they are always keen to keep up with how the local rugby (in particular) competitions are going. This interest would probably be shared by others. If you could arrange for regular reports on local competitions and some comment on particular players, I am sure readers would be interested. J. Stirling Mana College Porirua Friends, All wishes for strength and a growing paper. Jennifer Gale Makomako RD Pahiatua Friends, I was really pleased that the Fijian and Rotuman languages have contributed to Mana. Therefore, whoever is doing them my congratulations and many thanks to all those who are concerned with the newspaper. Mrs Susan J. Strickland Westmere Auckland
