Carvers
Applications for the 1978 intake of carver trainees at the N.Z. Maori Arts and Crafts Institute are now being called for.
The school, at Whakarewarewa, Rotorua, will commence at 8 a.m. on Monday January 23, 1978. Application forms may be obtained by writing to the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, P.O. Box 334, Rotorua. Closing date for applications is November 15, 1977.
Applicants must be between 15 and 18 years of age and have some Maori ancestry.
