There are two people sharing (opposingly) the Tinomana Ariki title of Arorangi. They are Mr Napa iand Naomi. * ♦ ♦ The Premier was very sick during the constitution celebration and received local medicine from Mama Ngatuaine of Mitiaro. Now he is alright and has been to Papua to take part in the Pacific Forum. ♦ * * The Ngatangiia and Matavera team has won the round cup this year. The knock out cup is still under competition and it is likely to go either to Avatiu, Tupapa, Titikaveka and Ngatangiia jand Matavera team. ♦ * ♦ Changing of CICC Reverends for each island will take place next year. * * * The Cook Islands’ general election will also take place next year. CIPA and DEMO candidates are not finalised yet but will be very soon.
