New Zealand Law Society Centennial Maori Scholarship A scholarship to the value of $6OO is available to a person of Maori descenttoenable him/herto undertake full-time study in an approved course fora Law degree at a university in New Zealand. The scholarship will be tenable for such period as the Maori Education Foundation determines having regard for the requirements of the course of study. In special circumstances the scholarship may be extended for a further period. The New Zealand Law Society Centennial Maori Scholarship was established in 1969 to commemorate the centennial of the New Zealand Law Society. The Fund was originally financed by subscriptions from members of the legal profession. Copies of the scholarship conditions and application forms are available from the Secretary, Maori Education Foundation, PC Box 3745, Wellington. The closing date for applications is 1 December 1977.
