TO AGRICULTURAL LEASEHOLDERS AND OTHERS. rrHE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT desire to direct attention to the 26th Section of the Goldfields Act Amendment Act, 1865, by which the extent of AGRICULTURAL LEASE AREAS on Goldfields is INCREASED FROM TEN ACRES TO FIFTY ACRES. By the 24th Sectign of the same Act it is provided that in the event of the sale of any land lawfully occupied the VALUE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND IMPROVEMENTS thereon shall be added to the upset price and PAID TO THE OCCUPANT if any other person becomes the purchaser. In order further to facilitate settlement on the soil the Provincial Government have REDUCED THE YEARLY RENTAL TO TWO SHILLINQS AND SIXPENCE PER ACRE, at which rate also future payments will be made by the holders of existing leases.
