Queenstown Advertisements. IMPORTANT TO STOREKEEPERS AND OTHERS. Great Reduction in the Rates of Freight. rpHE Proprietors of the Cutter \ "MO A" having determined to offer increased advantages to Storekeepers and Others resident in the Lake district, beg to state that they have rednced their Freightage Charges as under:— From Kingston to Queenstown, W ton, Dead weight £1 10 0 Horses, per head - - - 30 0 Commission on Cartage, 2£ ty cent. Agents at Kingston—. 234 KERR & CO. WAKATIP LAKE STEAMER "ALEXANDRA." Pickford and Co. having chartered the above steamer, are running her daily at considerably reduced rates. For passengers and merchandise, the steamer Alexandra leaves Queenstown punctually at 9 o'clock a.m., arriving at Kingston early; leaves Kingston for Queenstown, at 3 o'clock p.m. All Merchandise taken—weight as per way bill in quantities. The steamer Alexandra has been fitted up with powerful machinery, that enables her to run in all weathers. This expense has been incurred to meet the requirements of the time, oar motto is PUNCTUALITY and DESPATCH. P.S.—Agent for Alexandra, BLACK and GORDON, Queenstown. Insurance on goods charged extra. This favorite steamer having now received a thorough overhaul and great improvements effected in her machinery, may now claim favorable comparison with any steamer on the Lake, for swiftness, safety and comfort.
