Tunnelling at the Kawakau.— The following Uitis, having reference to the great tunnel now iu progress at the Gorge, and communicated by Mr Buchanan to the Goldfields Department, will be perused with interest by our mining readers:—" Working at the Gorge, alout five miles from Cromwill. Scotland's party still working in the vicinity, and bave a three times better claim. Dry all the time ; about a qu iter of a mile from the river's edge.
