CAPTUR!'. OP' N'GARI iWAHIA. General Cameron has mnrched to Ngaruawahia, the residence of the Maori king, and his victorious troops are now in occupation of that place, the British flag floating proudly in the capital of Maoridom. The Maories retired, and the troops entered the King's village without any resistance whatever. The following message has been received in Auckland from General Cameron: — "The Queen's flag is flying at Ngaruawahia. A division of 500 men under my command were conveyed up the river in the Pioneer, and landed at Ngaruawahia, about 4 p.m. without opposition, or seeing any natives."
