TO THE ARROW COMMITTEE OF THE WAKATIP HOSPITAL.
Per favor of the Lake Wakatip Mail. Gentlemen,—ln the absence of the treasurer, I have much pleasure in acknowledging the receipt of £233 lis. from the secretary of the Arrow district, Mr. Richmond, and while sincerely regretting that any remarks contained in my report should have been deemed by you personal or severe, would respectfully call your attention to the truthfulness of the same, and I feel assured that whatever political differences may occasionally divide these two districts, yet, when the cause of suffering humanity is at stake, we are as unanimous as all men ought to be, where any great or good object is to be successfully attained. I beg to remain, Gentlemen, Yours, &c,
W. Grumitt, Oct. 16,1863. Late Hon. Secretary.
