Electoral District of the Goldfields TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," and also of an Act of the aforesaid General Assembly, intituled "The Provincial Elections Act, 1858," I, Edward Croker, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the Goldfields in the Province of Otago, do hereby give Notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 23rd day of April, 1863, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of three qualified persons to serve as Members of the Provincial Council of the said Province of Otago, and that the NOMINATION of Candidates will take place at the Court House, at Lawrence, Tuapeka, on SATURDAY, the 13th day of June, 1863, at 12 o'clock noon, and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken on SATURDAY, 20th day of June, 1863.
