Common Sense.— We have considered it to be so generally accepted as an indispensable condition in, writing to the Press that the name, sc, of the writer should be confided to the editor, that we have not thought it necessary hitherto to state that such is our invariable rule; and the letter of our correspondent is therefore excluded. Colin Campbell Mclntyre.—Four letter was not written when you were in your cool moments, or you would perceive that the meeting was merely reported as having taken place—we having expressed no opinion on the subject; and your remarks concerning its party spirit would equally apply—though in an opposite sence—to the meeting Md at Maori Point just previously. A Protestant.—An Unfortunate Sufferer.— The communications of these gentlemen are in type, and will appear in onr next issue.
