Nominations for the Jockey Club Hanlicap and District Handicap will be received by the Secretary up to 8 p.m. All nominations to enclose description, age. pedigree, and latest performance of horses, name of owner and colours of, riders, entrance money, and qualification fees. " District horse " to mean a horse that has been running in the district for at least three months prior to the race, and to be the bona fide property of a resident; District to include Hampden Riding of County of Inangahua; together witli Lyell Riding, County Buller. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (except hack races) ' unless he is a subscriber of £1 to the race fund.
