Public Notices. INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE. WHEREAS, the Inangahua County Council, at a meeting held on the 26th day of August, 1886, pursuant to the powers conveyed by section 43 of " The Counties Act 1876" Amendment Act 1882 and in exercise of the same, and of all other powers in this behalf it enabling.— Resolved : " That a general rate on all Rateable property within the said County—for carrying into eftect the General purposes of the said Act —should be made and levied in accordance with the said Act, and %i The Rating Act, 1882." And whereas in and by the said Resolution the Council resolved that the said Rate should be made and levied as aforesaid for a period of six montlisfrom the Ist day of October, 1886 — and should be paid in one sum on the 4th day of October, 1886, and tnat the amount of such Rate should be the sum of Six Farthings in the Pound on the Values of the Rateable Property as appearing on the Yalnation Roll now in force in the County aforesaid. Notice, therefore, is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the last mentioned Act, that the said Council on the 28rd day of September, 1886, intend to make and levy such Rate, and to order and direct that the amount thereof shall be the sum of Six Farthings in the Pound on the values aforesaid; that the said Rate shall be for the period of Six Months from Ist day of Oetober, 1886. And Notice is hereby further given that the Rate Book is open for inspection, as in and by the last mentioned Act provided. Dated the 27th day of August, 1886. WM. NOONAN, County Clerk
