Mining Notices. APPLICATION FOR LEASE. Nelson South-West Goldfields, August lGth 1886. To the Warden at Lyell— I HEIiEBY apply for a Gold-Mining Lease of the lands hereinafter described, in accordance with the Gold-! Mining Leases Regulations of New Zealand, and I agree, upon the approval of this application, to execute a lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same. Minimum number of men proposed to be employed by the lessee—For the first six months, 4 men; subsequently, when in full work, 8 men v Amount of capital proposed to be invested— .£IO,OOO. Proposed mode of working the land— By tunnelling. Precise locality—Alpine|Range. Bounded on the north by Crown Lands, on the south by the United Alpine Company's ground, on the east by the Lyell Creek Extended Company's ground, and on the west by Crown Lands. Term for which lease is required—ls years. Time of commencing operations—As soon as lease is granted. General remarks The ground now applied for is a portion of a Special Claim formerly held by the New South Wales Company, but now cancelled. The above application and any objection thereto will be heard at the Warden's Office at Lyell, on WEDNESDAY, the 29th SEPTEMBER, 1886. Any persou desiring to object to the issue of a Mining Lease upon the above application must, within 30 clear days from the date of such application, enter his objection at the Warden's Office at Lyell. Bounded on the south by the United Alpine Special Claim, on the east by the Lyell Creek Extended Special Claim, on the north by part Tyr Counell Lease and Grown Lands, and. on the west by Crown Lands. Term for which lease is Required—ls years. Time of commencing operations—When lease is granted.
