To the Warden at Lyell—~7"E HEREBY apply for a Special Claim of the lands hereinafter described, in accordance with the 93rd Section of "The Mines Act, 1877," of New Zealand, and we agree, upon the approval of this application, to accept the Special Claim upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same. Proposed mode of working the land — Ordinary mode of quartz mining. Precise localitj^—Alpine Range. Bounded on the south by part United Alpine Special Claim and part Crown lands, on the east by the Lyell Creek Extended Special Claim, on the north and west by Crown lands. Term for which lease is required—ls years. Time of commencing operations—On granting of lease. General Remarks Portion of this ground was formerly occupied by the United New South Wales Company as a Special Claim. The above application and any objection thereto will be heard at the Warden's Office, at Murchison, on WEDNESDAY, the 29th SEPTEMBER, 1886. Any person desiring to object to the issue of a Mining Lease upon the above application must, within thirty clear days from the date of such application, enter his obiection at the Warden's Office at Lyell.
