Mining Notices. APPLICATION FOR LEASE. To the Warden at Mupchison— I HEREBY apply for a Gold Mining Lease of the lands hereinafter described, in accordance with the Gold Mining Leases Regulations of New Zealand, and I agree, upon the approval of this application, to execute a lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same. Extent of ground applied for —Sixteen and a-half acres. Minimum number of men proposed to be employed by the lessee —For the first three months, 2 men; subsequently, when in full work, 6 men. Amount of capital proposed to be invested— £20,000. Proposed mode of working the landOrdinary mode of quartz mining. Precise locality—Owen District. Bounded on the south by the Advance lease, on the west by the Zealandia and Owen leases, on the north and east by Crown lands. Term for which lease is required—ls years. Time of commencing operations—When lease is granted. The above application and any objection thereto will be heard at the Warden's Office at Murchison, on TUESDAY, 28th SEPTEMBER, 1836. Any person desiring to object to the issue of a Mining Lease upon the above application must, within 30 clear days from the date of such application, enter his objection at the Warden's Office at Lyell.
