PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. ■ N conformity with the 37th section 1 of " The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease. Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Lyell, on or before the 26th day of September, 1886. Copy of application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden's Office at Lyell. Schedule. Applicant: James Inglis. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: Advance Quartz Mining Company. Area: 16 acres 2 roods. Locality: Owen River. Mining District: Nelson South-West.
