NOTICE. IT is my intention to APPLY, at the next sitting of the Waste Lands Board, Nelson, for an OCCUPATION LICENSE over Section 94a, Square 170, 40 acres, Hampden. Also, 25 acres east of above, bounded partly by Essex and Chalgrave streets, partly by Buller River. HENRY HURFORD, IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF WESTLAND, HOLDEN AT REEFTON. In the Matter of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872," and the several amendments thereof; and, In the Matter of " The Ballarat Quartz Mining Company, Limited," in Liquidation. Tuesday, the eighteenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six. UPON hearing Mr Jones, of counsel for James Inglis, the Liquidator herein, and upcn reading the affidavit of the said James Inglis, filed herein, this Court doth order that the said Liquidator be authorised to draw by cheques upon the funds of the estate deposited with the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, at Reefton, for sums not exceeding in the aggregate one hundred and forty-one pounds eleven shillings and sixpence and one half-penny, to be applied by the said Liquidator in paying an ad interim DIVIDEND of TEN SHILLINGS in the POUND sterling to the persons being CREDITORS who have DULY PROVED their DEBTS. And the said DIVIDEND will be PAID at the office of the Liquidator, James Inglis, Cliff Street, Lyell, on and after MONDAY, 31st MAY, 1886. By Order of the Court, HENRY LUCAS, Clerk to Court.
