The libel or slander action, Munro v. O'Conor, M.H.R., which was to have been heard before the Supreme Court and a special jury, at Nelson, on Monday oext, has been settled out of Court.
By submitting Parliamentary privilege the member for the district could claim a postponement, which would extend over six months.
