LYELL DISTRICT. HOSPITAL. PUBLIC MEETING will be held * in Fennell's Hall on SATURDAY EVENING, 24th APRIL, at 8 o'clock sharp. Business : To take into consideration to be best method ol using the mone3 r collected for the erection of an Hospital at Lyell,in consequence of tfie Government declining to take any steps in the matter, and the Westpoit District Board refusing to entertain any proposals under the plea that an Institution is not required in Lyell. Under these circumstances, and for the purpose of fully explaining the reasons adduced by Government for their refusal, the Committee would desire a full attendance of Subscribers to consider the mat tor in all its bearings.
