Granted. Ritchie and Burns, for the Bon Accord, were informed that the necessary survey having been made, the Warden would recommend the issue of lease to them. Survey fee, <£s 9s. E. Carton and P. J. Armstrong, for the Lumsden Company. No objection. Certificate would issue. James Inglis, for United Italy. No objection by surveyor. Certificate would be issued. Survey, £lO Is 6d. James Hire, for the Empress. No objection. Survey, X'J 4s.

Kelly and M'Cloy, for machine site, Eight Mile. Granted as surveyed. This was an application for cancellation of a residence area lield by defendant, on the grounds of failing to be in possession of a miner's right sinci October last. The Warden decided afte: hearing defendant's evidence, that in lie* of forfeiture he would infiict a fine of 10 and 8s costs.
