Government Notices. * 3KJI GOLD MINING LEASE TO BE GRANTED. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. IN conformity with the 37th section of "The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule unless there shall be valid objections against such lease. Objections to the granting of such lease, Btating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Lyell on or before the 16th day of February, 1886. Copy of application made and plan Rnnexed may be seen at the Warden's Office at Lyell. Schedule. Applicant: James Hart. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business; The Empress Quartz Mining Company. Extent ot grdund applied for: Sixteen acres two roods. Locality: Eight-mile, Lyell.
