(From .American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.1)., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says : —lt is the best remedy known in typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, small- ( pox, &c,; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result m a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Sander and Son's Eucalypti Extract. (From St. Leuis Electric Medical Journal, iJec., 1881). Cancer of the longue—Patient,-Mrs. , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diathesis. Prescribed lour drops to be taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three tunes with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cnr ed. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelpliin). —Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised hv the Medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.
Sander and Son's Eucalvpti Extract. From the Clinical liecord, of August, 1831). Surgical Clinic of Professor ANniyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis —Scirrhus of Breast— Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition : No swelling, heat or discoloration, near or in the wound, which has united fully ; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. Sander and Son's Eucalypti Extract. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. C A U T lON. Sander and Son's Eucalypti Extract. (St. Lous Clinical Record, Jan. 1882). -iluzard, M.D. Prof of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti extract. Sander's prepar ition w r as the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the only existing | volatile extract, free of all resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of real danger ! if errcnously applied in throat diseases, &c. ao bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trade mark, and secured outside with a pink wrapper and green band, the latter | bearing our location and signature.
