The Applicant also seeks a reduction of the rent from 20s per acre, to 5s per acre, and gives as a reason for such reduction, that the Company is not a prosperous Company, and has worked the ground for some years without any returns; also, has spent an enoimous amount of money in prospecting in a part of the country, very difficult of access. The above aj plication and any objection thereto will be heard at the Warden's Office at Lyell, on Wednesday, Bth July. 1885. Any person desiring to object to the issue of a mining lease upon the above application must, within 80 clear days from the date of such application, enter his objection at the Warden's Ollice at Lyell.
