Woehensehrift 1879) Moiler, M.J)., Professor at the University Greifswald, Germany, report! : The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruise*, sprains, wounds, scalding, broken nbs, and limbs. It effectually stays allinn\iruination and swelling. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory orgaus, as croup, diptheria, innnimiiution of the bronchial tubes aual lungs, ehronic catarrh, bropchih*. colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. (From American Medical Journal, Jun., 1832).—Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine. American Medical College, says :—lt is the best remedy known in typhonjaUrial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet lover, smallpox, &c; it effectually retard; the disintegration of the animal fluids, which result in a general bro*king-up of the blood and in death. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'latyre noted the following condition : No swelling, heat or discoloration, near or in the wound, which has united fully ; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. Sander and Son's Eucalypti Extract. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1*80). —The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 80 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given iawanllv, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION, Sander and Son's Eucalypti Extract.
