HAMLET REPORTS. ' CLARIDGE AND SMITH. Claridge and Smith report another clearance at the Fanners’ Saieyards last Friday, when the large attendance, despite the rough weather, seemed quite comfortable in the spacious building. The following were the principal lines sold:—Spring dray, £11; gig, £11; express, £8 ss; spring traps, £3 7s CU and £7 ss; cultivators, £5; harness, 30s to £3 4s; half truck chaff, £4 16s ton; horses, aged, £3 7s 6d to £6 17s 6d. Furniture and household goods were readily bought at good prices. This is our first weokly sale, and we have every reason to be gratified wjth its success. Wc, therefore, take this opportunity of thanking both buyers and sellers for the support extended to us. Anythin? entrusted to us will be under cover, and receive our personal supervision. Our poultry sales continue to be fairly well supplied, although the demand greatly exceeds the supply, and turkeys, ducks, and geese are eager* ly inquired for. Prices this week were asuin high; hens 5s lOd to Bs, late pullets 6s 7d in 7s lid, ducks 9s Id, ducklings Bs, rooster! 4s 8d to 10s 4d. 8
