FRENCH AIRMAN'S FEAT.
THREE VICTIMS IN THREE
MIN.UTES.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association PARIS, September 29. The Paris "Matin" states that Lieutenant Guynemer brought down three aeroplanes in three minutes. He narrowly, escaped death. Shrapnel smashed a wing, and the aeroplane crashed into the French lines and was destroyed. Guynemer's injuries were e^ght.
BELGIAN FRONT.
GREAT ARTILLERY DUEL. Eeuter's Telegrams. (Received October 2, 12.5 a.m.) LONDON, October 1. A Belgian communique says:—A great artillery duel has heen proceeding in the Dixmude region for the past week. Our artillery was especillly effective in destroying German ivorks in. tho Het Sas sector.
