BULGARS LOSE HEAVILY. LONDON, September 28. The War Office has received the following report from Salonika : Our artillery dispersed working parties on the Doiran front. The enemy’s aircraft tare active. Tha Navy shelled an enemy; column on the Struma front near Razolidos, and the French artillery also dispersed a column at Yonimah. Our naval aeroplanes bombed the railway station at Angista. A Serbian communiquo says:— Despite the Bulgarian attacks a : t Kftjmackalnn wo hold our principal positions. Our ' losses were heavy, but the Bulgarian losses were enormous. Corpses were lioapecl qii the wire entanglements. ENEMY' DRIVEN BACK.
PAULS, September 28. The “Echo cle Paris” correspondent at Salonika says that the Franco-Serb-ians, resuming their offensive on Sunday, drove the Bulgarians, back, four kilometres, captured three villages, chased the Bulgarians from all positions before Fiorina. Our shells passed over the town, blowing up the enemy’s works and batteries. AIR REPRISALS. FRENCH MAY BOMB SOFIA. LONDON, Septembef 28. Athens expects that General Sarrail will embark on severe reprisals by air | raids on Sofia, in consequence of the continuance 'of German bombings of Bucharest.
