It is stated that the mobilisation is being ordered. THE RUSSIAN FRONT. PETROGRAD, September 29.—The Russians drove back a German attack west of Riga. Stubborn fighting continues in Galicia. -' . MACEDONIAN CAMPAIGN. SALONIKA, September 29.—The Bulgarians suffered heavily in futile attacks on the Serbians on the Kajmackalan plateau. ITALY’S SUCCESSES. i ROME, September 29.—Austriah attacks on the Asiago fropt and in the Dolomites were repulsed. An unofficial message says that the Italians are within four miles of Trieste. BRITAIN’S'DECISION. LONDON, September 29.—1 nan interview Mr Lloyd George says that no matter how long it takes Britain will fight /until Prussian despotism is crushed." It is a fight to a finish, and outside interference will not be tolerated.
