SERIOUS ECONOMIC SITUATION. MESSAGE PASSED BY GERMAN CENSORS. (Received September 28, 5.5 p.m.) GENEVA, September 27. Berlin messages, which tho censorship has apparently allowed to bo sent to Swiss newspapers, emphasise the seriousness of the military situation. A correspondent describes tho German people as wholly desiring peace. Every family in the Empire has offered .tho blood sacrifice and there are very serious economic difficulties. Those who are spared by the intrigues are flourishing. Nervousness is displayed in many circles.
