TREASURY BILLS.

REDUCTION IN RATES. NEW ISSUE OF EXCHEQUER BONDS. (Recoived September 28, 6.10 p.m.) LONDON, September 27. The rates for six months Treasury bills have been reduced from 5| per cent and twelve months bills from 6 to 51 per cent, the same as the three months bills. The Bank of England announces that it will not receive further applications lor 5 per cent Exchequer bonds for 1919, but will make a new issue of bonds shortly. It is officially stated that theso bonds will be 6 per cents with three years’ currency. ,
