BOARD OF GOVERNORS. Tho Board of Governors of Cantorbury College met yesterday; pre&ent—• Mr'j. C. Adam's (chairman), Dean Harper, Dr Lester and Messrs L. B. AYood, H. Bovd, T. W. Adams, T. Hughes, H. D. Aeland, S. H. Seager and J. J. Dougall. . , A motion of condolence with Mr Dougall in the death of his son in France was carried in silence. Tho College Committee recommended that the request of the Christchurch Technical College Board, that classes in physiology, in bacteriology, and in phvsical science, as applied to domestio economy, should be held at Canterbury College, should be approved, on tho conditions laid down by the Professorial Board, namely (1) That the classes should be Canterbury College classes, open to all students; (2) that no classes should be held unless six students are in regular attendance; (3) that suitable hours should bo arranged at times when tho timetable is not • already overcrowded. The'report was adopted.
